Digital Entrepreneurs is an exciting new business support programme that combines the best of online and real world networks to develop entrepreneurialism in Sheffield. The programme offers individuals and eligible businesses from Sheffield a comprehensive development package. Utter have been brought in to advise on aspects of site design and technology plus some design and build.
The aim of the project is to create a network of Sheffield-based businesses with ecommerce sites and utilising existing web services such as Flicr or Facebook. The project is heavily locally funded and hopes to enable approximately 100 sites to go live over the next year.
So far Utter have built an ecommerce shop for local poster artist Martin F Bedford and are currently supplying consultancy on two other project, one for the South Yorkshire Filmmaker's Network. Stay tuned.
