The Poetry Business is an influential poetry publishing company, producing a twice-yearly magazine, The North, and many books and pamphlets. They were early publishers of Carol Anne Duffy (now Poet Laureate) and run prestigious annual competitions, Utter are now working on all aspects of the company's designs and hope to undertake a major revamp of both the website and company branding/identity early next year.

Utter designed the two latest book jackets for the book publishing arm, Smith/Doorstop, and have transitioned the existing website to the CMS Made Simple content management system while preparations for a major site upgrade go ahead. Staff at the company have found the site much easier to use and have been making great use of the CMS system to populate the site with new content.
