In 2021 I was approached by the author Yvonne Green to create the designs for two books of translations from the Russian/Ukrainian poet Semyon Izrailevich Lipkin. Rather than hawk the books around established publishers we decided to found a new small press through which to publish them – The Hendon Press
The building element of the logo comes from the iconic building (formerly the ABC cinema, now a health spa) on the corner of Queens Road and Hendon Way in North London.
